The label

In order to be awarded the EMICODE® label, manufacturers need to submit their products to extensive testing carried out by renowned institutes. Based on scientifically determined test results, the products are classified into different emission classes.

Only products that meet the strict emission limits may be labeled with the EMICODE® seal. Manufacturers commit to producing these products in a quality-assured and controlled manner to ensure compliance with the requirements of the EMICODE® class at all times.

To ensure the reliability of the products’ emission claims, the products are regularly submitted to random spot checks by independent, internationally recognized testing institutes.
